As part of The DG Global Children's Peace Council (GCPC) e-Twinning Project, we held our November event titled "World Children's Mailbox: Letters Against Bullying." The aim of our event was to help our students understand what bullying is, why it's wrong, and its impact on people, while also developing empathy, solidarity, and intercultural communication skills. Through this activity, our students realized that children from different parts of the world may experience similar emotions and had the opportunity to connect with their peers in another country. Our students wrote short, meaningful, and friendship-themed online letters to our project partner students in Serbia. Each student also supported their letters with drawings themed around peace and friendship.
